1) The cake template was incomplete or broke during baking, so the baker patched up the gap using whipped cream.
2) A few sales assistants at the cake counter were openly criticizing another staff member in front of patrons, showing a total lack of professionalism by ignoring the customers.
I've been buying cakes from Michelle cake for years, but I feel really disappointed this time.
the cake has become smaller then in the past. there are also alot of cream on the cake.
its a thick layer of cream, thin layer of cake and more cream.
I have ordered this chestnut cake many times over the last 3 decades. I asked for less whipped cream which they listened. Unfortunately the cake is a lot sweeter than used to be. I contacted them and they said they would check into it. I guess next time when I order I need to remind them less sweet given the inconsistency in their sweetness.
