Fresh Fruit Cake 鮮雜果蛋糕

For many years Michelês was the favourite place to purchase our 10-person family cake on birthdays. Unfortunately the price is now prohibitive. We loved the whip cream rather than butter icing. This cake is great except for the cost. It's a fantastic cake, probably the best fruit-cocktail cake anywhere in Vancouver

Had this cake as an invitee to a birthday event. (This family always buys their cakes from you) Unfortunately, disappointed it lacked fresh fruit, really skimpy amounts of melon etc. Have had more fresh fruit from similar cakes from other bakeries.

Ordered the fruit cake this time around and it was tasty. The cake was moist, fresh, lots of fruit (kiwi, melon, peach), and the cream was the perfect sweetness. Everyone enjoyed it!

This is my first time ordering the fresh fruit cake and I was disappointed. I usually order the mango cake and it is always excellent. However this time, the sponge cake was weepy like it was a ‘day old cake’ and there was not very much fruit inside the layer. Mostly small bits of strawberry and kiwi.
